University of Agriculture Faisalabad released its first Fall 2026 undergraduate merit list on September 6, with more lists to follow. Here's exactly how to check your status across the main campus and sub-campuses.

The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) released the first merit list for its Fall 2026 undergraduate admissions on September 6, 2026, covering its main Faisalabad campus as well as the Burewala-Vehari, Toba Tek Singh, and Depalpur-Okara sub-campuses. If you applied for a UAF undergraduate programme this year, here is exactly how the merit list process works and how to check where you stand.

    Where to Check Your Result

UAF publishes merit lists on two places:

    1. The official admissions portal at admissions.uaf.edu.pk
    2. The admissions overview page on the main university site, uaf.edu.pk

On the portal, you check your status by entering your roll number in the result-lookup section, then selecting your department to view the department-wise final list. If you're unsure which department your application falls under, the same roll-number lookup will typically point you to the correct list.

Results are also displayed physically at the Admission Office notice boards and the Office of the Principal, UAF Community College, near Airport Chowk on Jhang Road, Faisalabad -- useful if you want to double-check your online result or don't have reliable internet access.

Why There Are Multiple Merit Lists

UAF, like most Pakistani public universities, does not fill all its seats off a single list. Instead:

    • The 1st (open) merit list goes to the highest-scoring applicants in each programme.
    • As some of those students fail to confirm their seat by depositing fees, don't meet document requirements, or choose another university, those seats fall vacant.
    • The 2nd merit list is released shortly after the first deadline lapses, pulling in applicants who were just below the initial cut-off.
    • A further 3rd merit list, expected around the week ending in October this year, fills any seats still open across morning, evening, and weekend programmes -- including for applicants whose intermediate results were on the lower side but who remain in the running as higher-ranked candidates drop out.

This means that if you don't see your name on the first list, it is worth continuing to check back rather than assuming you've been rejected -- a meaningful share of each year's intake is admitted through the second and third lists.

    Campuses Covered

The Fall 2026 merit lists span:

    • UAF main campus, Faisalabad
    • Sub-Campus Burewala-Vehari
    • Sub-Campus Toba Tek Singh
    • Sub-Campus Depalpur-Okara

Each sub-campus has its own department-wise lists, so make sure you're checking the result for the specific campus and programme combination you applied to -- a name search on the wrong campus list won't return a match even if you were admitted elsewhere.

    Special Categories

UAF also issues separate notifications for specific quotas and categories, including sports-quota admissions, Hafiz-e-Quran seats, and co-curricular/interview-based assessments. If you applied under one of these categories, check for a separate list rather than only looking at the general open-merit list for your department.

What to Do If You're Admitted

If your name appears on a merit list, note the fee deposit deadline carefully -- missing it is exactly what creates the vacant seats that move on to the next list, and in a tight admission cycle you don't want to lose your own seat in the same way. Keep your original matriculation and intermediate certificates, CNIC/B-Form, and photographs ready, since document verification typically happens at the time of fee submission or shortly after.

What to Do If You're Not Admitted Yet

If you don't appear on the current list, hold on to your roll number and keep checking the portal as the 2nd and 3rd lists are released through September and October. If your intermediate result improves through a re-check or supplementary exam, or if you're eligible to apply to a different UAF sub-campus with a lower cut-off for the same programme, those are both legitimate ways some applicants still secure a seat in later rounds.

For the most accurate, up-to-the-day status, always check directly on admissions.uaf.edu.pk rather than relying on third-party result-aggregator sites, which can lag behind the university's own updates.
